HTAS stands for High Tech Automotive Solutions. Rijksdienst Voor Ondernemend Nederland, InnoSys Delft BV, Direct Current BV and Delft University of technology have formed a consortium where a high speed asynchronous motor, motor drive, battery, 2-speed transmission and charger are to be developed. The project started in 2010 and is finished beginning 2014. In 2014 beta versions of all components are mounted in a test car. In the picture the motor with 2-speed gear box, connected to a conventional drive shaft interface on a test rig is displayed.
